Nose
Wet leaves and grape skin, with smoky bacon, bonfire embers and fruit and nut chocolate. Crisp peat, dirty smoke, fresh funk, rotting lemons, cold ashes, warm compost sweet toffee, fruit salad, develops to be funkier, old apples.
Palate
Earthy peat smoke, with tart berry jam, damp oak and caramelised nuts. Juicy, thick, tingly and drying mouthfeel, peat, salted caramel, waspy smoke, funky grass field, sherry notes in the background.
Finish
More peat and oak char, with plum jam on burnt toast. Intense and long, peat, smoke, lemons, some pear.
