- Nose
- Quite earthy and savoury, with aromas of BBQ, spiced potatoes, rubber, cured ham, honey and mustard, pineapples and oranges. It's got a faint herbal touch, with chalk, saline, seaweed, spent oil on hot concrete, toffee, Werther's Originals, orange zest, cinnamon, and light blue Mr. Sketch markers.
- Palate
- Salty, smooth, tropical and very well integrated peat. A perfect intersection of peat, sweet and lime, with hints of pound cake and hay, sweet brown sugar, candied cherries, barbecue smoke, soot, tar, pepper, and a whiff of burnt matches.
- Finish
- Very long and complex, offering a perfect balance between peat smoke and tropical fruits. Notes of corn bread, leather, ham, burnt rubber, chopped up chives, cigars, salty smoke, and lingering sweetness of raspberries.
