Description

Since 1994, Murray McDavid has been pioneering the Art of Maturation, ageing whisky in fine casks. The Benchmark series offers small craft batches of outstanding single malts, showcasing diverse styles and intriguing flavours. This Ledaig 15 Year Old, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024, is a heavily peated, maritime malt from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. It was finished in first-fill Uitvlugt Rum Barrels from Guyana, adding tropical influences to the smoky spirit.
