Description

A Scottish malt whisky distillery on the Isle of Mull, originally established as Ledaig back in 1798. Having experienced a turbulent early history, Burn Stewart Distillers has brought success and stability to it in the modern era. It currently produces a standard non-peated spirit and a peated malt. A conceptual collection of independent whisky bottlings from Livingstone Rare. Launched in 2023, it is part of the Macbeth Collection, a series of 42 whiskies representing characters from Shakespeare's play. This 'First Murderer' expression is an 18-year-old heavily peated single malt from the Isle of Mull.
