Description

This 8-year-old cask strength bourbon from Leopold Bros in Denver, Colorado, is crafted from a mash bill of 65% corn, 20% floor-malted barley, and 15% rye. It undergoes a long, open-air fermentation for 7 days and is double distilled in copper alembic pot stills. Aged for 8 years in new American oak, it is then finished for several months in barrels that previously held Leopold Bros' unique Three Chamber Rye Whiskey, imparting a complex and rich flavor profile. Bottled without chill filtration at cask strength, it offers a bold and unique drinking experience.
