Description

Linkwood has been operating for nearly 200 years and enjoys a very high reputation amongst blenders for its light fragrant style that is twinned with a thick texture in the mouth. This is achieved with a long fermentation of 75 hours, and slow distillation in spirit stills that are larger than the wash stills so they can maximise the contact with the copper. This whisky was specially bottled to celebrate the 25th year of the Burghead Maltings, which opened in 1966. This bottling was originally not available to buy and was only given to members of staff of the Burghead maltings.
