Rich dried fruits, orange zest, and honey with hints of toasted oak, vanilla, and subtle spices. Also, honeyed melon, autumn berries, candied nuts, and a touch of citrus zest, with a sunny fruit salad, pears, apples, and oranges.
Palate
Full-bodied with layers of dark chocolate, dried apricots, and raisins complemented by notes of baking spices, toffee, and nutmeg with a pleasant warmth. Also, nutty malt, toffee apples, dried orange wheels, chocolate raisins, and a lively fight between sweeter and drier notes like marzipan, cinnamon cakes, and blood oranges.
Finish
Long and satisfying with lingering sweetness, oak spice, and dried fruit notes that gradually fade into a gentle warmth. The drying spice lingers, but so does the sweet fruit, with an interplay of sweet and sour, and notes of dry cider.
