Nose
Bursting with fresh orchard fruit, yellow apples, peaches, zesty orange, and pear drops. Underlying notes of malty cereal, muesli, hazelnuts, vanilla fudge, and biscuits. A light earthy, floral, and sometimes herbaceous touch, with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper.
Palate
Rich and sweet, with burnt caramel, toffee, and golden syrup. Stewed fruit, crisp green apple, and candied orange mingle with spicy bourbon wood, grainy notes, toasted oats, cinnamon, and clove. A peppery bite and a dry, bitter streak of liquorice root can also be found.
Finish
Medium to long, starting with malt biscuits and sweet cream, then transitioning to candied bananas and fresh fruit. It becomes more cereal-led, earthy, and bittersweet, with a lingering peppery kick and notes of vanilla and nuts.
