Nose
Woody vanilla notes with honey and dates, bananas, plums, chocolate, rum and raisins, green pepper, cinnamon, ginger chai. Elegant and fruity with sweet pear and mango, creamy toffee and orange marmalade, baked orchard fruits (apples, pears), stewed plums, raisins, delicate floral note, polished oak.
Palate
Rich caramel with spiced wood, raisins, dried fruits, white pepper, earthy, char, cinnamon sticks, peaches, star anise. Soft fudge and ripe juicy pear, nutty oak. Smooth and creamy texture, red apples, dried apricots, sultanas, toffee, baked sponge cake, mild nuttiness (almonds, hazelnuts), soft cinnamon and nutmeg. Thick mouthfeel, fruity with honey, maple candies, peaches, pears, smoke, praline, nutmeg.
Finish
Medium to long, sweet vanilla, sultanas, spiced wood. Incredibly smooth and long with a subtle touch of nutty oak. Medium-long, sweetness fades, light oakiness, touch of ginger warmth, dried apple skins, raisins, soft, drying tannic note. Long and damp with citrus notes, oak and a touch of pepper.
