Nose
Bright and reasonably fruity with lemon peels, sunflower oil, green bananas, tinned peaches, grapes, marshmallow, vanilla cake, and hints of flour and fresh bourbonny oak. Also fresh orchard fruits like apples and pears, honey, creamy vanilla, sweet toffee, subtle oak spices, and gentle maltiness.
Palate
Typical bright style with plenty of fruits including lemons, green apples, lime peels, and classic barley sweetness. Notes of limoncello, lemon meringue, light olive oil, bitter lemon, grated coconut, and ginger. Smooth and full-bodied with vanilla custard, caramel, light butterscotch, tropical fruits, boiled sweets (pear drops), aniseed balls, orange zest, watermelon, lychee, pineapple, black tea, chamomile, and a hint of lavender.
Finish
Medium to long and warming, with plenty of citrus zest, hints of white pepper, oaky notes, lingering honeyed sweetness, vanilla, and a gentle touch of oak spice. A subtle malt character stays present, leaving a smooth, creamy aftertaste.
