This Longmorn-Glenlivet 1994 23 Year Old is an independent bottling by Cadenhead's, the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Distilled in 1994, this Speyside single malt was matured for 23 years and bottled in 2018 at a strength of 52.6% ABV. It underwent a four-year finishing period in Guadeloupean rum casks. This release is part of a limited outturn of 222 bottles.

Nose
Orchard-like fruitiness with green apples, plums, white beer, jasmine, and exotic fruits like lychees. Notes of orange zest, wax, tarte Tatin, pistachio halva, panettone, and fresh raisin rolls.
Palate
Taut with green pepper, cider apples, fresh herbs, and a lovely acidity. With water, sugarcane, pineapple, banana liqueur, guava juice, and more herbs emerge. Also powerful, grassy, bitter, with bagasse, hay, green berries, olives, and a light 'funk'.
Finish
Long with fruit peelings and bitters. Medium length, grassy, salty, with lingering olives and a hint of vanilla.
