Nose
Powerful and a little spirity, with obvious sherry notes, roasted hazelnuts, wax, grains, and a slight sugariness. Develops into antique notes of old furniture and leather, with faint hints of cooked cabbage and smoked ham.
Palate
Very sweet and creamy with an oily mouthfeel, much oak, and spiced vanilla crème. With water, it becomes more spicy, waxy, and a little salty, with less vanilla.
Finish
Very long, with notes of pears.
