Distilled at The Macallan distillery in Speyside, this 110 proof release is part of their Sherry Oak Collection. This bold and distinctive single malt whisky was matured for 12 years in a combination of American and European sherry seasoned oak casks before being bottled at a strength of 55% abv, free from artificial colouring.

Nose
Rich dried fruits like plums, figs, dates, raisins, and cranberries, alongside butterscotch, caramel, cinnamon, clove, walnut, vanilla, sherry, and a hint of miso. Citrus notes of orange peel and sweet strawberry laces are also present.
Palate
Oily and mouth-coating, with a blast of savory sherried sweetness. Signature Macallan dried fruit character (dates, prune, stewed plums), dark toffee, molasses, and layered spices including clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Oak notes and a hint of red apple skin and leather emerge.
Finish
Long and warming, with lingering sweet spice, cinnamon, and cocoa. Dried fruit fades to a subtle nutty base and a faint second wave of oak. It presents a medium-long, slightly drying finish with notes of peppery oak, mocha, and ginger warmth.
