Toffee, salt, brine, noticeable but not overwhelming smoke, brown butter with a caramel finish to it.
Palate
The flavors instantly envelope the palate with a citrus fruity note, moving on to a sweeter candied orange peel, caramel, and warm mid palate, and finally finishing with just enough peat smoke to tie it all together. No unnecessary heat anywhere, a beautifully balanced flavor profile.
Finish
Smoky sweet warmth with a bit of spice and pepper going down, but not unpleasantly hot.
