Description

The Macallan 1851 Inspiration is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky that pays homage to the distillery's heritage and the era of experimentation with different cask types in 1851. It was bottled in 2010 as a limited edition, initially for the travel retail market. The bottle design itself is a faithful replica of mid-19th-century glassware, complete with intentional imperfections. This no-age-statement whisky is matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon oak casks.
