Nose
Rich and chocolatey with dried orange peel, dried fruits, sherry, nuts, and a trace of sulphur. Notes of cherry, plum, tobacco leaf, vanilla, and muscat grapes. Also hints of old walnuts, leather, and a little wood smoke.
Palate
Smooth and voluptuous, sweetish to start with black raisins, coffee, old cognac, tobacco, tar, blackcurrant liqueur, and Seville oranges. Hints of orange caramel, spice, and honey.
Finish
Medium to long, spicy, with a drying oak and grapy notes. Hints of flan, dried lemon peel, ginger, and orange.
