Description

This is the first edition of the popular Macallan Boutique Collection, released in 2016 to celebrate the opening of Macallan's first standalone boutique store at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. This limited edition collectible was drawn from a selection of matured casks reserved for distinguished guests visiting Easter Elchies House, the spiritual home of The Macallan. It is a rich, full-bodied Speyside single malt, bottled at cask strength, embodying the refinement of its origin.

Nose
Ripe orchard fruits with subtle sherry cask hints, rich dried fruits with creamy vanilla, mature oak, warming ginger and nutmeg with hints of dark chocolate and vanilla.
Palate
Toffee and apple with gentle spice, soft spices, ginger and cinnamon with hints of nutmeg, initially sweet and fruity with orange oil and oak spices, full-flavoured, rich and smooth, with a burst of soft spices and dried fruits coating the mouth.
Finish
Charred oak with a hint of spiced honey, medium to long, soft and warming, with a lingering oak and fruit finish.
