Classical and elegant modern sherry wood profile with notes of pomegranate molasses, rosehip syrup, hazelnut butter, orange oil, burnt chocolate scone batter, cognac-plumped raisins, toasted vermicelli, leathery jerky, smoked mushroom, rosewood, and mothballs.
Palate
Excellent leathery arrival, a sweet-savory line between peppered dried beef strips and puddingy Oloroso. Orange zest, chocolate creme patisserie, woody chestnut mash, acorns, and a meaty, earthy, savory note of mushroom.
Finish
Cream of mushroom soup, caramel popcorn, hazelnut praline, burnt caramel, varnished wooden dessert platter, with lasting notes of chocolate-spiked brandy, cremeux, and ember.
