Description

This limited 2025 release of 'The Marketing Malt' is a 20 year old matured undisclosed Macallan. Distilled in 2005 then matured in two first-fill European Oak Sherry Butts before being married and bottled by Decadent Drinks at 57.1% ABV. 'It is simultaneously old style and modern: like very old Armagnac, muddled with Sherry'.

Distinct Oloroso acidity, brown sugar, luscious fruitiness, nutty undertone. Dark chocolate, espresso grounds, figs, walnut wine and rich sherry spice.
Palate
Immediate explosion of fruit sweetness (juicy), classic notes of heavy-sherried whisky: leather, toasted wood, herbal touch. Huge depth with roasted game, dark berries, bitter chocolate, dried fruit and European oak tannin.
Finish
Long, draped in rich sherry fruitiness. Powerful and deeply spiced. Cocoa, walnut and dark fruit.
