The Macallan Edition No. 3 is the third release in The Macallan's Edition Series, a collection created to explore different dimensions of whisky making through cask selection, flavour, and creative collaboration. This edition was a collaboration between Master Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno and Master Perfumer Roja Dove, focusing on aroma and drawing on a carefully selected blend of European and American oak casks.

Orange peel, vanilla bean, nutmeg, and light florals with hints of sweet oak. Vanilla ice cream, fresh cut oak and delicate florals. Orange oil, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate
Creamy lemon tart, ginger, green apple, and balanced oak. Sweet fruit and vanilla, rich fruit cake with apricot, pear and crisp green apple. Dark chocolate, dry malt, dark honey, and brandied fruits.
Finish
Medium to long with lingering warm spice, citrus zest, and subtle sweetness. Long, fruity finish, with attendant sweet oak. Spicy and honeyed.
