The Macallan Estate Reserve is a premium Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, part of The Macallan's 1824 Collection, which celebrates the distillery's heritage and mastery of oak. Founded in 1824, The Macallan is renowned for its commitment to craftsmanship and its Six Pillars, including curiously small stills and exceptional cask management. This expression was bottled in 2009 at 45.7% ABV and is non-chill filtered, ensuring a rich and authentic flavor profile. It was matured in specially selected sherry-seasoned hogsheads, including first-fill American and European oak casks, which impart a deep, complex character. Originally released exclusively for the travel retail market, this limited-edition whisky has become a highly sought-after collectible.
