Description

Macallan 12 Years Old Fine Oak is an older core range expression from the famed Macallan distillery. The Fine Oak series was launched in 2004, and was rebranded as Triple Cask in 2018. The whisky matured in a combination of European sherry-seasoned oak casks, American sherry-seasoned oak casks and American bourbon-seasoned oak casks, resulting in a vibrant single malt with notes of vanilla, dried fruits and spice. This complex combination of casks delivers a smooth whisky.

Medium, balanced with fruit, oak and spice, light milk chocolate, raisins, pears, wood spice, maltiness, creamy malt, toasted oak, orange zest, cinnamon spice, and subtle caramel sweetness.
Finish
Lingering with dried fruits, oak and spice, medium-long, very well balanced, vanilla and sultana, smooth and balanced with gentle oak spice and lingering vanilla.
