Description

The Macallan 12-years-old Fine Oak is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, aged for 12 years. It is part of the Fine Oak series, which was later rebranded as Triple Cask. This expression is matured in a unique and complex combination of European sherry-seasoned oak casks, American sherry-seasoned oak casks, and American bourbon-seasoned oak casks, resulting in a smooth, delicate yet complex single malt. [4, 7, 9, 10, 11] It was awarded Best 11-15 year old Single Malt Scotch of the Year in the Whisky Bible Awards 2012 and rated 95.5/100 by Jim Murray. [6]
