Macallan Peerless 33 Year Old, Cask #5389, 1969, Duncan Taylor, 40.3%

Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release. Introduced in 2002, Peerless was one of the inaugural independent bottling brands from Duncan Taylor. This Macallan was distilled in May 1969, matured in cask number 5389 for 33 long years and bottled by Duncan Taylor & Co. for their 'Peerless' range in August 2002. It is one of only 201 cask strength bottlings and comes with an original wooden presentation box.
