Description
A truly historic moment from arguably the most famous name in Scotch whisky, this is believed to be the oldest single malt ever bottled. It is part of The Macallan's exquisite Red Collection, which celebrates the rich spectrum of reds in their whisky and reflects a deep respect for time, tradition, and craftsmanship. The 'new make' spirit was laid down in hand-picked oak casks and matured for an astonishing 78 years, making it the oldest release from The Macallan to date. The presentation box is handcrafted from the same European oak used in Macallan's casks and upholstered with soft Scottish leather.
