Description

An Loy, formerly known as Glenloy, is Macaloney's 'Whiskymaker's Signature Selection'. This Canadian Island Single Malt Whisky is double distilled using unpeated malted barley. It is matured in a combination of 60% first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, 15% Portuguese STR red-wine barriques, 15% Oloroso Sherry casks, and 10% Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry casks. The whisky is non-chill filtered and has no color added. It was designed by Dr. Jim Swan and its distillation guided by Master Distiller Mike Nicolson. The distillery is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
