Nose
The nose has fresh sea breeze and beach-wood bonfire followed by ice cream soda, barley, wheat, sherbet, ripe pear, banana and red currants, leading to marzipan, vanilla, ginger and cinnamon.
Palate
On the palate, a harmonious blend of caramel, roasted nuts, and a subtle saltiness reminiscent of Canada's coasts unfolds. It opens to vanilla fudge, white chocolate, Brazil nuts, green cardamom and sandalwood. The palate is sweet, creamy and viscous with sugar kelp, sweet bonfire smoke and beach tangle, leading to butterscotch, vanilla pods, lemon grass, juicy ripe pears, nectarines and pineapple, sweet pink grapefruit and coconut milk.
Finish
The elegant finish provides a smooth, soft aftertaste with a light smokiness that lingers long. The lingering finish has walnut, iris cream, dried oak, roasted mustard seeds, seashells and sea tangle, sweet cinnamon, fruity spice smoke, and distiller extracts with a hint of salt.
