Description

Mackmyra Moment Delägare is the ninth release in the Moment Series from the Swedish distillery Mackmyra. Released in 2012 in a limited run of 3000 bottles, it is dedicated to those who own a part of Mackmyra. This soft and chewy Swedish malt is based on the 'Elegant' recipe, matured in 100-liter ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, new American oak, and new Swedish oak casks, as well as bourbon casks saturated with cloudberry wine. To enhance the cloudberry character, it was also spiced with 30-liter casks saturated with cloudberry wine.

Allocation
Sweden
Nose
Fruity and candy-like, with pear caramel, tart candies, citrus and cloudberry tones. Slightly oaky with toasted casks, vanilla, fresh pepper and slightly grassy herbs. Nutty with almonds and marzipan.
Palate
Berry, slightly fruity and softly spicy with dried fruit, citrus, cloudberry and butterscotch. Oily and a bit rough mouthfeel. Slightly aggressive oak spices, berries (might be cloudberries), honey, mint and milk chocolate.
Finish
Softly oaky, fruity and with intense cloudberry buoyancy. Medium long finish, with a fizzy feel, sweet jam, honey, and caramel.
