Description

Mackmyra Moment Solsken is the eighth release in the limited 'Moment' series, a Swedish single malt whisky. It is finely spiced and herbaceous with fresh notes of plants and a light smokiness. This golden whisky, inspired by the long sunsets in Sweden, offers references of dried fruit and butterscotch, playing over fresh herbs with a finish of soft and spicy oakiness. It was carefully selected by Master Blender Angela D'Orazio and matured in Swedish oak barrels and sherry barrels.

Dusty wood, marshmallow sweetness, ripe melons, sea spray, oaky, nutty, fruity with butterscotch, hot breakfast pastries, honeycomb, tinned peaches, cinnamon, hot teacakes with singed edges.
Palate
Honeyed biscuits, oat cakes, toffee, hay, pecans, dried fruit, butterscotch, fresh herbs, soft and spicy oakiness, warm and soothing, sucked lozenges, mandarin segments, tame spices, cobnut.
Finish
Fairly nutty with a great balance (sweet, grainy, spicy, sour), long and fruity, mouth puckering finish of sharp fruit juices.
