Description

A 1950 MacPhail's bottled at 36 years of age. This 'mystery' Macphails offering bottled by the iconic independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail is from an unknown distillery in the Scottish Highlands. It was distilled in 1950 and aged for 36 years before being bottled in the instantly recognisable Macphail's Book of Kells series. The label depicts The Dram Takers adapted from 'The Book of Kells', a 9th-century illuminated manuscript.
