Description

This is the 2024 Cellar Aged expression, an annual global limited-release from Maker's Mark. It is a blend of 15% 12-year-old and 85% 13-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskies, bottled at 59.7% ABV (119.3 proof). The whisky undergoes an innovative maturation process, spending approximately six years in traditional bourbon warehouses before being moved to the distillery's LEED-certified limestone cellar for an additional five to six years of aging. This cellar maintains a cooler, more consistent temperature, allowing for a richer, deeper, and more complex flavor profile without the harsh tannic effects often found in older American whiskies. This release is the oldest expression from Maker's Mark to date and is non-chill filtered.
