Description

Coastal Stone is an Australian Blended Whisky distilled at Manly Spirits distillery in Sydney. This is a blend of various Australian grains which have been matured in both ex-Bourbon American Oak & ex-Australian Shiraz casks. Bottled at 40% ABV. It is described as an approachable, light, and smooth blended whisky, crafted for both whisky enthusiasts and those new to whisky exploration. It is made from grain to glass in their Northern Beaches distillery.

Notes of stone fruits (white peach, apricot, nectarine), golden apple Asian pears, floral (spring flowers), rich chocolate, a mild hint of vanilla & honey.
Palate
Creamy texture almost custard apple or strudel, panna cotta roundness, pear notes, chocolate, and 5 spice present on the back palate.
Finish
Light/medium bodied up front, nutty/chocolate, opens up in the mid to dried stone fruits, fine subtle tannins from French and American oak, preceding a long, rich, smooth, clean finish.
