Description

This Mannochmore Loch Dhu 10 Year Old, known as 'The Black Whisky,' is a controversial and now highly collectible single malt from Speyside. Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2000, its distinctive deep black color is attributed to maturation in double-charred oak casks, though the use of spirit caramel is also widely acknowledged. 'Loch Dhu' translates to 'Black Lake' in Gaelic.
