Description

This blend was bottled at an ABV of 39%, before the regulation that whisky has to have a minimum ABV of 40% became law in Japan. The company behind the Mars Whisky brand in Japan, originally founded as a cotton processing company in 1872 before moving in to liquor in 1909. Its whisky operations commenced in 1949 and today it owns two malt distilleries, Shinshu and Tsunuki.
