Description

Sitting at around eight hundred metres above sea level, the Mars Shinshu Distillery is the highest whisky distillery in Japan. This expression, the 'Kasei' is the Japanese word for Mars, and the whisky is made from a blend of both malt and grain whiskies, married from a variety of barrels. It is a soft, rounded whisky with floral notes and an aftertaste of ripe fruit, vanilla and citrus.
