Nose
Cherries, caramelized bananas, orange chocolate, hints of spice and oak, with wisps of cereal and nuts. Fresh grainy note, lightly floral and honeyed with a sappy edge and a hint of smoke in the background. Dry pastry.
Palate
Creamy, malty. Orange rind, milk chocolate, caramel, roasted nuts. Sherried fruits and spices. Light smoke then flour sacks, before creamy toffee develops in the centre.
Finish
Deep oak, leather, and barley. Not a long finish, but not too short. Lifts into citrus.
