Description

A bourbon brand within the Sazerac Company portfolio, distilled and bottled it at its Buffalo Trace distillery. Launched in 1986 as Seagram's Benchmark, it was sold to Sazerac in 1989 and renamed in homage to the McAfee brothers, James, George and Robert, who surveyed the Frankfort area in 1753. The palate entry is surprisingly sweet and corny; the midpalate point is deep, corny sweet, sap-like and a bit syrupy.
