Description

A dormant subsidiary of Morrison Bowmore Distillers, McClelland's was originally founded as a blender and export agency in 1818. It was acquired by Stanley P. Morrison in 1970 and run as a subsidiary until the early 21st century, bottling the McClelland's single malts brand. The McClelland's Islay Single Malt is a 'mystery malt' or 'bastard malt' without an age statement, widely believed to be sourced from Bowmore distillery.
