Description

Meikle Tòir The Turbo 5 Year Old 2024 Edition is a peated Speyside single malt whisky from The GlenAllachie distillery, guided by Master Distiller Billy Walker. This annual limited release is aged for five years in a combination of five American virgin oak casks and four Oloroso hogsheads. Distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2024 at 50% ABV, it boasts a significant peat level of 70 PPM, derived from mainland peat from St. Fergus. The whisky undergoes a lengthy 160-hour fermentation period and is non-chill filtered, offering a full-bodied and complex character. Only 2,200 bottles were produced for this edition.
