Description

Metaxa Angels' Treasure is a unique spirit, consisting of a blend of grape distillates (brandy), sweet Muscat wine from Samos, and botanicals. It is aged in large French Limousin oak casks, with some components aged for more than 50 years. This expression, bottled in 2018, was originally launched as a travel-retail exclusive. The aging process in Metaxa's cellars in Attica, known for its dry climate, leads to a unique 'Angels' Treasure' phenomenon where water evaporates faster than alcohol, concentrating the spirit. This limited edition release is crafted under the supervision of Metaxa Master Konstantinos Raptis.
