Description
The identity of Michel Couvreur is distinguished first by the aging of his whiskies in Sherry and Port casks, mainly. However, the singularity of Michel Couvreur whiskies also finds its source in the cellar located in Bouze-lès-Beaune, in Côte d'Or, halfway between Andalusia and Scotland. This exceptional cellar, with its 150 meters of galleries dug into the heart of the Burgundian rock, offers humidity, silence, calm and depth. The choice of casks and the delicate interaction between the wet and dry parts give Michel Couvreur whiskies an intense power and a melted roundness. The whiskies thus acquire their style and nobility after several years of maturation.
