Nose
Rich and creamy crème brûlée, brown sugar, toasted marshmallow, pie crust, toffee, and crème brûlée. Hints of pepper, spice, and lots of woodiness and oak. Also, black cherry, grilled pineapple, lemon citrus, Concord grape juice, fennel seed, cinnamon, herbal notes, and honey.
Palate
Buttery mouthfeel with creamy notes of toffee, orange rind, sweet vanilla, well-integrated aged oak, bubble gum, and sweet bread pastry. Midpoint offers custard, honey, and golden raisin. Spices like fennel seed, cinnamon, anise, and peppercorns, with herbal notes of mint. Wild fruit notes of cherry and orange citrus, toasted caramel, bitter oak, and oak spice. Molasses, pumpernickel bread, and creamy, buttery oak.
Finish
Long with oak, spice, and lingering peaches. Red fruits, confectioner's sugar, buttercream, graham cracker, light sugar maple, and a slow rise of delicate rye spice. Aged oak overtakes, resulting in a lingering and mildly tannic oak aftertaste. Cocoa powder and cinnamon.
