Description
A sour mash whiskey from Michter's, released to honour John Shenk, who founded a distillery in Pennsylvania in 1753 that later became Michter's. This full-bodied small batch whiskey is made in Kentucky according to the traditional Sour Mash process, whereby a portion of the previously distilled whiskey mash is added into the next batch. It is described as a Kentucky Sour Mash Whiskey made with a substantial amount of rye, offering notes of spice, mint, orange and a touch of smoke.
