Description

A rare single pot still Irish Whiskey from Midleton, distilled on the 11th of April 1997, then matured in a single 1st fill Bourbon cask before being bottled on the 8th of September 2015 after selection by Master Distiller Brian Nation. The cask yielded 197 bottles at 57.9% ABV, which were bottled as an exclusive for Caesar Club Romania.

Initially sweet with vanilla and cinnamon spices along with a hint of citrus and green apple. The influence of the 1st fill American Oak adding depth and complexity.
Palate
Milk chocolate, marzipan is prolonged by the vanilla sweetness and cinnamon spice. The pot still spices are complemented by the citrus notes and green apple. Close introduces some rich fruits, banana, apricot & peach.
Finish
The richness of the Pot Still spices linger, only giving way to the sweet vanilla and oak.
