The 2015 edition of Midleton Very Rare is a premium blended Irish whiskey, produced by Irish Distillers at the New Midleton Distillery. It is a small-batch blend of carefully chosen pot still and grain whiskeys, triple-distilled, and matured in ex-Bourbon casks. Each bottle is individually numbered and presented in a wooden case. This annual release is known for its elegant balance, refined complexity, and smooth finish.

Lively, fruity and ester filled aromas with light honey sweetness, whipped cream, caramel, apple, pear, red plums, dark berries, Juicy Fruit gum, vanilla, nutmeg, clove, crystallised ginger, boiled sweets, candied orange peel, pineapple and dried apricots.
Palate
Smooth and weighty with sweet cereal characteristics, creamed wheat, caramel, vanilla, light chocolate, hay, floral notes, peaches, fruit candy, custard, baking spices, malty oat biscuits, orange citrus, pineapple, pepper, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, and toasted oak.
Finish
Medium to great length with Juicy Fruit gum, woody/spicy notes, toffee, caramel, light bittersweetness, lingering sweetness, and polished oak.
