- Nose
- Grassy sweetness with vanilla and tropical fruit, including greenish pineapple, purple mangosteen, coconut oil, and a tropical-funk like durian. Industrial notes of engine oil, graphite, newsprint, plasticine, paraffin, barnyard, and lapsang tea. Also mango, thyme, caramel/butter, ash, eucalyptus, taro cake, earth, herbal notes, floral hay, perfume, mild lavender, basil, lime tree blossom, leather, and oak.
- Palate
- Thick and oily texture with underripe tropical fruit, barnyard, machine shop, and paraffin wax. Strong coconut, pineapple, pickled ginger, and industrial notes. Savoury character with darker, richer sweet flavours, caramel, and dark fruits. Slightly smoky with charred marshmallow and lapsang. Can be sake-like, lactic, sweet, and smooth. Also brine, lemon tart, cinnamon, peach, apple crumble, spicy pears, vanilla sauce, stewed apples with custard and dates, creamy apple, leather, and roast beef.
- Finish
- Long with lingering gingery/wasabi spice, green tropical fruit, heavy oils, and wax. Industrial notes of metallic and sooty. Scented oak, soda water, cotton balls, swamp grass, and lemon-lime. Can have gruyere-like cheesy-nutty notes, floral, soapy, cocoa, mango, taro, mint, marzipan, and strawberry jam.
