Description
Originally based in Aberdeen before being bought by the Campbeltown based Mitchell family in 1969, Wm Cadenhead's is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Now their flagship Campbeltown premises - located next to the Springbank distillery - also features their own shop offering a variety of bottled spirits from different distilleries. This Miltonduff-Glenlivet 10 Year Old was distilled at the Miltonduff distillery in Speyside and bottled by independent bottler Cadenhead's as an exclusive for their Campbeltown shop. This expression was matured for a decade, produced using a vatting of three bourbon hogsheads which were then re-racked into nine sherry firkin casks for 6 months. It is part of a limited release, bottled at a cask strength of 53.2% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
