Nose
Drizzles of caramel, cocoa nibs, earthy pepper, cloves, and fruity wine gums. Fruity and super sweet. Stewed apricots and peaches. Cantaloupe melon. Chocolate and fudge mousse. Toasted Muscovado sugars.
Palate
Sweet stewed fruit compote, hot chocolate and sticky fruitcake, with toasted oak and warm tobacco. A very lively character indeed! Intensely fruity - stewed raisins, sultanas and apricots. Marmalade. Toasted oak and some serious cracked black pepper at the finish.
Finish
Plenty of pepper and ginger, with toasted brown bread, and apricot jam. Slightly spicy, with notes of ginger and black pepper, vanilla, freshly baked bread, fruit cake and honey.
