Nose
Peach and apricot with dustings of vanilla sugar, and candied almonds. Heavy sweet almond notes.
Palate
Silky honey and toasted marzipan are joined by waves of vanilla fudge, cinnamon biscuits, and creamy malt. Chocolate covered marzipan, butterscotch and maple syrup. Creamy vanilla custard integrating with sugar covered Belgian waffles. Light presence of spiciness, baking spices such as cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Freshly peeled almonds. Battenberg cake.
Finish
Cakey spice lingers, with soft fruits, more oaken vanilla, and candied nuts. Rewardingly long and staying true to its patisserie notes – it remains sweet.
