Description

A Japanese whisky distillery owned by the Nikka Whisky Distilling Co and the second built by Masataka Taketsuru. It primarily produces lightly- and non-peated malts and as of 1999 has also distilled malt and grain whiskies on the old Nishinomia Coffey stills. This limited edition Miyagikyo Sherry Cask single malt was released in 2015, matured in Spanish Sherry casks, and limited to 3,000 bottles. It showcases the elegant and fruity style of Miyagikyo malts with a distinctive Sherry cask influence.
